Rock and pop are my favourite musical genres. Yet the toughest part of designing these covers were the subtle differences between sub genres, fusion genres and regional scenes. Rock music has so many design directions to explore, it can be daunting and my music knowledge was often tested. Distinguishing the characteristics of nineties shoegaze from its more recent iteration, required careful thought.
