Steinweiss Series  /  Warner Music

In 2017 I was asked to design 140 classical music covers, inspired by the godfather of modern record design — Alex Steinweiss. I realised early on, that trying to replicate his delicate compositions would be near impossible. He had a 12 inch squared area, I only had a few hundred pixels! Each cover needed a strong concept to distill the Steinweiss signature style. The covers were then translated into 15 languages, for worldwide distribution.
